If you're like many of us, good self-care practices don't always come naturally. Make the commitment to yourself to work on your physical, emotional, and mental health by scheduling some time in your day just for you. And don't be afraid to start with the basics. Get plenty of sleep. Drink more water. Make time for physical activity. Find a hobby that brings you happiness. Spend more time with encouraging people. Make an appointment with a therapist. Volunteer. Anything that refuels you.
Implement new practices incrementally and you will soon become a self-care pro.
