Access & Engagement Clinician (Day Shift)
A Full Time Access & Engagement QMHP position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position is the front door to our services and plays a critical role in evaluating individuals experiencing psychiatric distress. This position will engage, assess and help to create a plan for individuals of all ages in multiple settings including the local ER, the jail, the community mental health center and other locations. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team and works out of our Warrenton North Coast Crisis Respite Center but spends a fair amount of time out in the community. Hours and schedule will include weekdays, some evenings, and the possibility of an occasional weekend.

A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university is required. Three or more years of outpatient clinical experience working with the mentally ill is strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize is essential. Dependability and being a positive member of the team will help insure job success. Must have a valid OR or WA DL, a MVR that meets agency insurance requirements, and pass a state required background check.

Access & Engagement Clinician (Swing Shift)
A Full-Time Access & Engagement Clinician swing shift position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position will perform a variety of services in an outpatient setting providing crisis intervention and mental health assessment services to all ages in community mental health center, local ER’s and jail. The position is located at our Warrenton North Coast Crisis Respite Center. Hours will be weekdays and evenings, with weekends possible. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize is essential. Being dependable and a positive member of the team will help insure job success. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university is required. Community Engagement Specialist
A Full-Time Community Engagement Specialist position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. The primary purpose of this position is to (1) continuously approach individuals identified by the physical health care system as high utilizers of emergency medical resources for either behavioral health reasons, or who do so in order to meet personal emotional needs and (2) to establish treatment readiness with these individuals, and or promote engagement with pro-social, community- based relations, with the goal of reducing over-use of the emergency medical care systems. This worker does not diagnose, counsel or respond to medical or mental health complaints by the identified clients. The activities of this worker we be determined by the treatment team and the Medical Director. An AA degree in behavioral health or related field. Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) and importance of maintaining confidentiality strongly preferred. Human Resources Director
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare (CBH) seeks a Human Resources Director to join our management team. This is a key position, reporting directly to the Executive Director, with accountability for attracting and retaining the exceptional talent needed to support our growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with CBH managers to create and implement HR best practices
  • Partner with hiring managers to source, on-board and develop employees
  • Analyze wage and salary data to support compensation recommendations
  • Act as a point of contact for effective employee relations
  • Act as point of contact for union representatives
  • Create and coordinate HR processes to build organizational health
  • Write/administer HR policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide direct oversight of HR staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, will substitute 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources field. PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s HR experience in progressively responsible jobs
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Some travel required (less than 10%)

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Care Coordinator
A Full-Time Medication Assisted Treatment Care Coordinator position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position works closely with MAT Program staff to ensure coordination of care between substance use disorder treatment services, primary care physicians and other community stakeholders to ensure continuity of care. Attend to case management needs such as housing, community resources and other case management needs. Requirements are a bachelor’s degree in Social work, Behavioral Health, Psychology or Counseling, or an acceptable combination of education and experience (to total 3 years). On-Call Crisis Respite Worker
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is looking to establish an on-call pool for Crisis Respite workers. Position will work as vacation relief and on call emergency fill in for the Crisis Respite Center. This is an entry level position and the following duties and tasks are generalized from full time workers. Crisis Respite Worker will assist with group and individual skills enrichment programs. Will provide general duties such as cleaning and cooking. May be asked to transport clients to and from appointments. May help assist clients in finding employment.

Required that the candidate have some personal or professional experience with individuals that have severe and persistent mental illness or developmental disability. Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred. Post-Secondary education in a behavioral science field also desirable.

Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License required, as well as ability to meet the insurance requirements of the agency. Residential Counselor (Swing / Night)
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is seeking to hire a Full-Time, Night Shift, Residential Counselor at the North Coast Crisis Respite Center facility in Warrenton, Oregon. Under the direction of the North Coast Crisis Respite Manager, the Residential Counselor works as a member of an interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment for residents within the residential facility. This position involves participation and implementation of program goals and objectives to promote a strengths-based, client centered approach to assisting residents in achieving individual goals and ultimately transitioning to a less restrictive setting.

Must be willing to work swing or graveyard shift. Must meet QMHA qualifications or the ability to obtain QMHA status with CBH within 6 months of hire. Three years’ prior experience in same or similar field required (email for qualification questions). Some higher education or vocational training in the field of Psychology (trauma informed therapy), Counseling, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Mental Health desired. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
