Access & Engagement Clinician
An Access & Engagement Clinician position (1.00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position will perform a variety of services in an outpatient setting providing crisis intervention and mental health assessment services to all ages in community mental health center, local ER’s and jail. The position is located at our Warrenton North Coast Crisis Respite Center. Hours will be weekdays and evenings, with weekends possible. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize is essential. Being dependable and a positive member of the team will help insure job success. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university is required. Strong preference will be given to those with three or more years of outpatient clinical experience working with the mentally ill. Crisis Respite On-Call Worker
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is establishing a pool of on-call workers. Positions will work as vacation relief and on call emergency fill in for the North Coast Crisis Respite Center. This is an entry level position and the duties and tasks are generalized from full time workers. Crisis Respite Worker will assist with group and individual skills enrichment programs. Will provide general duties such as cleaning and cooking. May be asked to transport clients to and from appointments. May help assist clients in finding employment.

There are 3 shifts, Day, Swing and Overnight. Each shift is 8 hours. As an “on-call” position the hours are not guaranteed and the position is non-benefited. There is no minimum number of hours worked per week guaranteed. Previous experience in a residential mental health or developmental disabilities setting preferred. Post-Secondary education in a behavioral science field also desirable.

Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License required, as well as ability to meet the insurance requirements of the agency. Employment will be contingent on meeting insurance requirements and the successful passing of a criminal history check. CSS/ACT Case Manager
A Case Manager (1.00 FTE) position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. The Community Support Services (CSS) and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program serves clients with severe and persistent mental illness. The program offers a combination of day treatment and outreach delivered by a team approach. The position is located in our Astoria office. Requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field; or a combination of at least 3 years relevant work, education, training or experience. At least one year of working with ACT programs is preferred. Must have a valid OR or WA DL as well as a MVR that meets agency insurance requirements. Must pass a state required background check.
