Access & Engagement Clinician
An Access & Engagement Clinician position (1.00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position will perform a variety of services in an outpatient setting providing crisis intervention and mental health assessment services to all ages in community mental health center, local ER’s and jail. The position is located at our Warrenton North Coast Crisis Respite Center. Hours will be weekdays and evenings, with weekends possible. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize is essential. Being dependable and a positive member of the team will help insure job success. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university is required. Strong preference will be given to those with three or more years of outpatient clinical experience working with the mentally ill. Billing Assistant
A Billing Assistant position (1.00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the billing office by processing, tracking, and following up on accounts receivable billings to ensure accurate and timely payment for services rendered. This position requires knowledge of policies and procedures related to medical billing, and the ability to correctly identify, interpret and consistently apply policy and procedure to a variety of situations. Strong preference will be given to those with 1-2 years prior experience as a billing clerk, and/or familiarity with behavioral health claims processing. Experience in coding is preferred. Customer service skills, including the ability to comfortably discuss financial matters with clients, are required. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets agency insurance requirements. Successful candidates must pass a state required background check. Child and Family QMHP Clinician
A Child and Family Clinician position (1:00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position is to provide trauma informed individual and family therapy. Create service plans with clients by applying therapeutic interventions and updating service plans and assessments. Conducts risk assessments while working with client and family members to develop safety plans as needed. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences/Social Sciences from an accredited university is required along with 1-2 years prior experience in the field of case management working with families and children in the mental health field. Licensure preferred. Must have a valid OR or WA DL as well as a MVR that meets agency insurance requirements. Must pass a state required background check. Crisis Respite On-Call Worker
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is establishing a pool of on-call workers. Positions will work as vacation relief and on call emergency fill in for the North Coast Crisis Respite Center. This is an entry level position and the duties and tasks are generalized from full time workers. Crisis Respite Worker will assist with group and individual skills enrichment programs. Will provide general duties such as cleaning and cooking. May be asked to transport clients to and from appointments. May help assist clients in finding employment.

There are 3 shifts, Day, Swing and Overnight. Each shift is 8 hours. As an “on-call” position the hours are not guaranteed and the position is non-benefited. There is no minimum number of hours worked per week guaranteed. Previous experience in a residential mental health or developmental disabilities setting preferred. Post-Secondary education in a behavioral science field also desirable.

Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License required, as well as ability to meet the insurance requirements of the agency. Employment will be contingent on meeting insurance requirements and the successful passing of a criminal history check.
