Access & Engagement Clinician
An Access & Engagement Clinician position (1.00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position will perform a variety of services in an outpatient setting providing crisis intervention and mental health assessment services to all ages in community mental health center, local ER’s and jail. The position is located at our Warrenton North Coast Crisis Respite Center. Hours will be weekdays and evenings, with weekends possible. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize is essential. Being dependable and a positive member of the team will help insure job success. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university is required. Strong preference will be given to those with three or more years of outpatient clinical experience working with the mentally ill. Child and Family QMHP Clinician
A Child and Family Clinician position (1:00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. This position is to provide trauma informed individual and family therapy. Create service plans with clients by applying therapeutic interventions and updating service plans and assessments. Conducts risk assessments while working with client and family members to develop safety plans as needed. A Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences/Social Sciences from an accredited university is required along with 1-2 years prior experience in the field of case management working with families and children in the mental health field. Licensure preferred. Must have a valid OR or WA DL as well as a MVR that meets agency insurance requirements. Must pass a state required background check. Crisis Respite On-Call Worker
Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is establishing a pool of on-call workers. Positions will work as vacation relief and on call emergency fill in for the North Coast Crisis Respite Center. This is an entry level position and the duties and tasks are generalized from full time workers. Crisis Respite Worker will assist with group and individual skills enrichment programs. Will provide general duties such as cleaning and cooking. May be asked to transport clients to and from appointments. May help assist clients in finding employment.There are 3 shifts, Day, Swing and Overnight. Each shift is 8 hours. As an “on-call” position the hours are not guaranteed and the position is non-benefited. There is no minimum number of hours worked per week guaranteed. Previous experience in a residential mental health or developmental disabilities setting preferred. Post-Secondary education in a behavioral science field also desirable.

Valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s License required, as well as ability to meet the insurance requirements of the agency. Community Engagement Specialist
A Community Engagement Specialist position (1.00 FTE) is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. The primary purpose of this position is to approach individuals identified by the physical health care system as high utilizers of emergency medical resources for behavioral reasons and establish an effective relationship to supplant the over-use of the medical system. Must be flexible and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends. Cases will be assigned in collaboration with local hospitals, CBH and Columbia Pacific CCO with a projected 6-9 individuals per year assigned. This worker does not diagnose, counsel or respond to medical or mental health complaints by the identified clients. The activities of this worker will be determined by the treatment team and the Medical Director. An AA degree in behavioral health or related field is preferred. Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) and importance of maintaining confidentiality strongly preferred. Developmental Disability Services Coordinator
A Developmental Disability Services Coordinator (1.00 FTE) position is available immediately at Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Must have excellent communication skills with individuals and families, community partners and providers and provide excellent customer service; be proficient in developing Individual Support Plans; monitor services of providers; complete annual Level of Care for KPlan and Waiver services; approve PSW timesheets in eXPRS; complete required Progress Notes and bill eXPRS. This position is a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.

The successful applicant will be knowledgeable with computer software such as Windows and Excel. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field; or Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least one year of social services related experience; or an associate’s degree in a behavioral science AND two years human services related experience; or three years of human services related experience.
