Crisis Services

Phone: 503-325-5724

If you are in immediate crisis where there is a danger to self or others: Call 911.

CBH provides crisis and urgent services 24/7 to residents of Clatsop County. During normal business hours, clients may call or come in to our office to seek immediate assistance. A crisis counselor will either meet with you or speak with you on the phone. After hours you will be able to speak with a counselor who will review your situation and make treatment recommendations. If you call after hours, most likely a next day appointment will be arranged for you to be seen and assessed by one of our clinicians.

CBH staff are able to do after hour outreach to secure situations, generally one of the hospital emergency rooms, to provide a mental health assessment. Outreaches to unsecured situations will generally involve law enforcement.

Since most crises involve alcohol and drug abuse, we work closely with our community partner, Lifeworks Northwest, to provide the best possible resolution of the the crisis situation.
